Default My sad korkers need help!

So I can't seem to get my korkers to look as full or stand like most of yours. I used 35 pieces of ribbon @ 2" and it just looks flat and the ribbons keep rolling around each other and I baked them with stiffner. AAAHHHH! and my camera is in the car so I will walk all the way out there in a few but just wanted to see if any one has any pointers! I wanna make cute Korkers dang it!

After re-reading this I totally sound like a child, imagine sad pouty face! LoL

Her korkers are cute! I'm always browsing her shop!

It looks to me like your bow isn't tied tight enough.

Have you tried sewing them? I found that by sewing mine I'm able to get the strands as close/tight as possible. I also have better control of the placement of the strands. You need three or four stitches to hold the bow together, but I like it better that way.

(I go thru a lot of needles, because the ribbon dulls them fast!)

Also...are they really 2 inches? They look longer! It could be the forced perspective shot, with the alligator clip behind the bow...Maybe that's making the strands look longer. Anyway, the longer the strands the more floppy it will look

I like the colors, and I like the watermelon look. :0)

You don't pull the korker before you cut do you? Looks a lot longer than 2 inches.

Agree...it looks like longer than my 2" or 2.5" for that matter... (Just double checking..lol..we know you know your inches... No pun intended)..

This is mine, cut at about 2.5" and I only used 25 pcs. It's round and i handsewn it.

LOL...nope I figured it out! I put them on the needle at the ends and I should have done the center...DUH! So I am gonna try again. See I even knew this but it got lost somewhere in my brain and anyway heres a picture of this one trimmed but still not really full cause I also figured out I gotta do 30 pieces of ribbon to equal 60 little ends sticking up
