What a super cute find. Those are super cute and look pretty simple. I have tons of tulle & a few tank tops laying around so..... I'm marking that down on my weekend "to do" list.

Since it came up earlier in the thread about getting enough stretch, How to they get enough stretch in a tutu onesie? Do you zigzag the tulle on?

Thanks,
Melanie

Hey April, You know what would be super cute to go with it? Do a pair of capri leggings with the matching tulle on the bottom of the leggings. I may have to try this one as well for my DD. Thanks for the idea!

Ok...I couldn't stand it...I found one of Chloe's old B-day tanks...(it needs to be ironed)LOL but I did it and I have not even added ribbon yet it looks cute and took like less than 10 min. I ruffled the tulle first then just layed it on the tank and sewed it using a straight stitch and it stretches ok. I pulled the shirt a little but not a lot so it would not look wonky like I said before.
here are pics...and like I said it needs ironing...ahhahaha

Sew Cute! Just one question....to ruffle do you do the two side by side stiches and pull to gather or do you use a ruffle foot?

actually, when I ruffle tulle...I use a straight stitch (a long one-the longest one you have like 5) and just feed it straight and it ruffles itself...someone on here gave me that tip! works great!

Or my ballerina applique!!! oh wow this is gunna be fun...LOL
also while I was sewing...I made this...it took 5 minutes and I think it will be a good item to draw kids....the bag will be filled with candy- I have about 1.50 in it and can sell them for 3.50 filled with candy!!!! whatcha think? the pic is not that great but you get the idea
I am going to make boy ones too...somehow...ha!Ha
