Well, being the good girl that I am , the instructions said fabri-tac to use on the starting end. So that's what I did. The end I used hot glue. I haven't tried hot glue on the starting end, but I'm not sure what the difference would be. Sorry, not much help, there, was I?

I use my glue gun for both ends. It's always the same weave but makes lots of different patterns depending on if you use 4 colors of ribbons or 3 of the same color and one different or 2 of the same and 2 of the same, etc.

Wow, this was an old thread. I think that was the first question I asked on this forum. LOL!

Anyhow, I ended up buying the instructions from Lorraine (Little Cans of Beans). Worth every penny I spent (even though I can't remember how much I paid for it anymore )

I recently bought the instructions from littlecanofbeans, I must say the basket weave instructions are great. I wish there was more information included in the heat and bond, little did I know that there were a million different types of the "heat and bond".

The woven headband instructions, I didn't need to use at all. I had a friend with me who was able to do it with out them...she said that she thought the instruction had too many photos, which can be a little confusing. I had a hard time following them, so she walked me through them.

At any rate, I am making headbands and I love it. Thanks beans!
