Default Question about toggles

I've been using just printed ribbon, but I'm finding that after I pull them through, it streaks my ribbon from it being such a tight fit. I'm using 7/8"ribbon on them. Not sure if there's another way around it-it's hard to turn in there so I don't think I can flip them if I thread it through on the back side if that makes sense?

I haven't tried mine yet, but are you using the reg. size or the mini ones?

i cut my ribbon so there is a really skinny side, thread it through the hole. do that on both sides. pull the whole ribbon through. then iron the ribbon.

I have to same problem, but since it's a the bottom I don't really worry about it. It only does it on certain kinds of printed ribbon like the ones from Hip Girl boutique (looks painted), not printed ribbon from RABOM.

I can get it through easily, but since it's a tight fix, the toggle is scratching the ribbon.

Mine is happening on the bottom too, so I know that's the part that won't be seen, but just wondered if there was anything. Good point-it hasn't happened on all of them but it's probably the painted ribbon I have
