Default Korkers made easier....maybe??????

Okay, This might be the dumbest question ever asked but...... do you think I can cook Korkers in a convection oven? It uses 80% less electricity and does not heat up the house at all!

I just bought the oven by Aroma and have not even used it yet but I am so tempted to try this tonight. What are your thoughts?

I feel stupid for not knowing this but are you talking about a toaster oven? Anyway, if so, that is the only thing I use. I cook mine for about 22 minutes and they turn out fine. I like to spray mine afterward with stiffen stuff though. HTH

I cook mine in a convection oven. It cooks great! About 15 minutes at 250! Fast easy and not allot of heat! I spray them with sta flo starch and aussie hairspray before I unwrap! Works great! The girls wore theirs to Disney and Ariel told them that she loved their seaweed bows!LOL

Oh, I am so glad I asked! I am going to try again tonight, the first time I tried it, It started smoking and smelled horrible so I turned it off quick and thought
I must not be able to do it for some reason.

(this is what a convection oven is)

I had never seen one before. I learned something knew. Thanks! It really is big enough to put korkers in it?

I use a toaster oven for mine and it works great. I use a lower temp and time. Maybe you can try one, using ribbon scraps, and see. That way you don't ruin your ribbon. You never know until you try !
