Default What bows do you recommend I start with? (newbie)

Hi, all I have been having fun reading everyones posts and seeing all the beautiful things you all make. I have gotten down how to make simple lined clippies (and then adding a simple embellishment) but want to get onto making bows. WHAT do you recommend trying first & what tips do you have for me? Thanks!!!!

Alyssa

Basic pinwheels would be a good bow to try, much easier then the boutique bows.

my first bow that was successful was the pinwheel bow. They were a good seller at the craft show I did last year.

I made my very first three bows lastnight. I tried the tuxedo bow first, came out okay (not quite centered.). Tried a boutique bow next (SCARY!! lol.), and a pinwheel bow last. My pinwheel bow is cute... The others... not so much. lol. But I don't have a creative bone in my body, so it may just be me. lol.

I am pretty sure my first bow was a pinwheel. I can't tell you how many times I practiced and finally got it. My main deal was getting the crease right without all the ribbon messing up. These instructions were great! You may have already seen them but these are the ones I used. Free HairBow Instructions: hairbow free directions, hair bow business work at home
