I sell mostly the nylon/knee high headbands for newborns up to about 6 months. People like the nylon headbands because they are so soft on their little noggins! The crochet ones are a great seller for any age. The lace ones...for me anyways sell the least.

Hope this helps you a little.

Thanks! Do you just buy regular knee highs at Wal-Mart? Am I looking for anything special? So you cut the top part off, but do you cut the toe off before sewing together? Sorry to be so dumb, but I really have no clue.

I actually buy mine at the dollar store. I can never find knee highs here so I buy the regular nylons, which you get 2 out of each leg. I cut the top part off and right at the toe and then fold it in half and cut to get 2 pieces. They are the perfect size for the headbands. I sell tons of these!!

Default No sew nylon headbands?

I was looking for instructions making the headbands out of nylons and I saw some pay instructions that said they were no sew. Are they just tying them in a knot. I'm all about buying instructions, but I would feel terribly stupid if I paid someone $9 to tell me to tie the darn things together! Anybody willing to help me out?

I would think they'd either have to tie them in a knot or else hot glue or some other adhesive. Here's a great and SUPER easy tutorial that is on youtube that someone here had posted the link to a day or two ago or so...

I cut mine as I stated above and then I put the 2 ends together and just with a needle and thread I stitch it together pulling it tight so that when I add the ribbon for the interchangeable loop it is scrunched together nicely. I go through it with the needle and thread a couple times just to make sure it is secure. When you add the ribbon just make sure you are only putting the glue on the back/inside of the headband and not the top. You need to be able to put the clip through. Does that make sense?? I am not very good at explaining things.
