Default Helps with bows and flops

Okay I am trying the flip flops with bows attached to the top. I have my bows made ready to attach and I need to know what is the best way to do this? I know you can use E6000 but I dont like the stuff. I heard you can sew them to the bows so I tried that but I cant get the needles through the plastic straps. Is there an easier way? For those that do sew how do you do it? I have about 10 pairs here waiting for their bows to be attached so any help is greatly appreciated!

I hot glue mine....I just make sure that the straps are wrapped in ribbon and the bow is glued on top of the ribbon...the glue won't hold on the actual plastic strap....

I just read on another group that one girl uses a leather tool to poke a hole in the plastic and sews her bow on and she used Gorilla glue for the straps....

Thanks that is what I tried with one of them and let it dry. I tried pulling on it with force and it really didn't give. I am just wondering how it will hold up with wear and tear. I read somewhere that when the weather gets warm the glue will soften and the bows will fall off.

I sell mine at a local store and I have not had anyone ever complain or bring them back....
