Default Decoupage or painted shoes

I want to do a new project so I bought some canvas shoes. I painted my first pair tonight and they are currently drying. Any tips of painting shoes??

Also, has anyone ever decoupaged shoes? Any help would be great!!!

Oh I would love to see a picture also. I have been waiting to make a pair to match my DD Easter outfit but not sure where to start.

I was wondering what type of paint and how to seal them. I used acrylic paint but I'm wondering if it;s going to work.

Any help would be great.

I've got to get some matching ribbon today before I post pic so you can get the full affect!!

Very cute! I like the width of the green ribbon, but I am partial to pink.

Oh those are cute! I like the pink ribbon too

What do you plan on sealing them with? Do you think taking an iron to them with help set it? I was just wondering because I would like to paint some shoes for the girls for Disney World this summer.
