I've found several suggestions on the internet. I think I am going to use waterproof sealer for shoes like Camp Dry.

My niece is always my guinea pig. She is so rough on things that if it can last her it can last any child. She will wear them to day care for a week and then we will see how they hold up.

I will let everyone know what type of damage she can do to them!!

I was going to do some decoupage shoes for dd for her bday.. I was going to use modge podge.. I bet you could seal them with that...

Oh I love them!! The pink ones are my fave. What kind of paint did you use? Have you sealed them yet? How did you make the circles so perfectly rounded? Reason I ask is because I made a bow holder and tried to do the circles but they didn't turn out right.

I used sponges on a stick available at Walmart. When I tried them on wood for a bow holder, my results were not as good...matter of fact they were down right ugly!!! With wood I think it was too much paint but with the canvas the paint soaked in. I just got back from walmart getting sealer so I was going to do that but it is way too cold outside to do it tonight.
