Oh I love to make korkers-they are my favorite! I stack them on a needle and push it down, then make a few extra stitches to hold it together. I use about 30 pieces in each one, but have used up to fifty before. I didn't like how that one turned out and it was hard to sew. I know you don't really make any money from them, but they are so fun and they look adorable! I like them better than the boutique bows actually, but that's just my opinion!

I tried sewing them and wonder why I haven't tried before. It is the way to go. I make lots of flower bows and use sort of the same method.

I put the peices on the needle (thread has a knot on the end) and once I have them loaded I find the back where the needle is going through and I hold there while I pull the needle up with my other hand. I go back through several times and tied off at the bottom just like I do my flower clips. Then I glue a partially covered clip over the knot I tied b.c it feels more secure that way

Mine turned out great and I felt like I didn't have to use as much ribbon as I did when I was tying them and they looked equally full.

Thanks for the tips ladies!!

do you just twist the individual pieces to be turning different directions to make them look full? I have tried tying them without sewing them and my daughter pulls the pieces out!

I use 28 pieces and make sure that your pulling them super tight. I also would reccomnd that you use stiffener and hang them up side down so that stiffen spiking up. I also put a dab of dcrazy glue so that kids can"t pull them out very easy.
