Question newbie question

when using alligator clips do you use the flat side up or down? flat side up seems backwards to me but it also seems to hold in my dd hair better. does it matter?

You can do it either way. I think most people do the flat side down. I do mostly sculptures, and several of those work/lay better if the flat side is towards the sculpture.

Wow! I never even thought of the flat side being up. I may just try that

I do them both ways. If I am just doing a lined clip I use it with the flat side down. If I am putting anything on it I do the flat side up.

I do it like this, too. When a friend showed me the upside down bit, I thought she was crazy . . . then I tried it and it is so much easier to attach the bows.
