Default Why do the bows on my crochet headbands...

seem to have a 'right' way and a 'wrong' way of wearing them. What I mean is, when I get the bow attached to the crochet headband, and I try it on it looks weird or backwards in one direction, and then it looks fine the other direction.

Am I doing something wrong, or does everyone have this when attaching bows to the crochet headbands? I just thought it would be better if they could be worn either way, without thinking which was is the correct way.

FTR, I complete my bow and then I glue the knot 'tails' around the headband.

Thanks for any advice!

Its kinda hard to imagine without a pic (but I am a very visual person). Are you attaching them directly to the headband, or with a cilp? I think most people put the bow on a clip first and then clip it on the headband... sorry! I know I'm not much help

bows tend to have a top and a bottom...

if when you attach the bow to the clip and the clip faces a certain direction and you tend to slip it on front of head toward the back of the head the top of the bow is on top.... but same clip and you go to slip it on the other side you need to attach the clip backward like from the back of the head toward the front... if you attach from front of the head toward the back you will have turned the bow upside down to get it to slide in that way...

thus you have the bow that looks funny...its upside down

I know it doesnt seem to make sense but it does if you watch what you are doing.
I say what I want, when I want, no one pays me... Its my opinion take it or leave it
