Default My Bottlecap Image Sealer SUCKS!!!

So I'm trying to make some bottlecaps for a necklace for my niece, but my image sealer is giving me problems. (Not the epoxy, but the spray-on stuff that keeps the images from running). I print my images on a laser printer, and then spray on Design Maker Super Surface Sealer. I didn't think images would run if they were printed on a laser printer, but the sealer is making a couple of my images run! It's just ones with pink in it, for some reason.

Anyway, does anyone have a rec for another sealer I can use? Or do I even need it if I'm printing on a laser printer?

Thank you very much in advance!

i print all my images on a regular printer using HP Presentation Paper. it's thin and glossy. I've tried many papers and I like this one cause it's so thin and once you are done with the bottlecaps it looks like you printed in on the cap. about sealing them: i use clear fingernail polish and paint each one. it's works great! I never have a problem with them smearing unless i have a helper polishing them and they miss a spot. haha....anyway...I hope this helps. i use the Love My Nails brand from walmart. it's only like .97 cents. One bottle might cover about 100 caps.

I print my images and then 'seal' them with clear packing tape. Then I punch them out. I use discs not bottlecaps. Then I seal them with diamond glaze or crystal lacquer.

Have you ever had a problem with the nail polish yellowing? I've done a few searches, and some people thought that would happen with polish...

That's a really good idea! Thank you! One question--do you put the tape on the back and the front of the images, or just the side that's printed on?

Thank you!

Thank you for your help--I really appreciate it! Now maybe I can finish these and get them sent off to my niece before I end up throwing them all out the window.
