Default Bow too stiff!

I'm trying to make some cheer bows and I made one with a back layer of sequins (there was grosgrain under the sequins), then a layer of grosgrain, then another layer of sequins on top of that. I used heat-n-bond to attach the sequins to the grosgrain and again to attach the layer of grosgrain to the layer of sequins. I don't know if I just ironed it too long because I really wanted it to stick, but it turned out SOOO stiff! It feels almost like cardboard! When I try to bend it, there is actually a sort of crisping sound haha I don't know if I should be using heat-n-bond lite? What's the difference? And is there any other sort of glue or anything I can use? Especially for attaching grosgrain to grosgrain, I feel like I can just use a hot glue gun but it ends up leaving bumps and if I use white ribbon, you can see the glue through it. Help! Thanks!

I make a lot of cheer bows. You need to use the Lite.

Thanks! Should I use lite for gluing grosgrain to grosgrain? Or just a regular glue or something?

I just made 35 of them exactly the way you described. Mine were a little stiff, they were foldable but not easy. I found a little trick, I ran the iron over the part to be folded just enough to make it a little warm and it folded so easily. I did use the lite and it was still stiff. The end result is so nice though cause now they won't smoosh.

What's the difference between the regular and the lite one? Will it be equally as stiff with the lite? I think I heard some people awhile back saying the lite wasn't sticking as well.

I honestly don't know the difference. I just bought what wal mart had available. I used the full sheets for the base color and the middle color and the rolls for the small color. I know the rolls are lite but not sure on the full sheet. I do agree that the lite doesn't stick as well. I had to go back and redo spots that I used the rolls on.
