Default Resin bow centers getting hidden

Okay so I made DD a hair bow for her Alabama stuff & the elephant is getting hidden in the center. All these hair bows I am seeing with the cute centers are highly visible & look so nice...why doesn't mine look like that? Mine sinks into the center & doesn't look mounted up...does that make sense

It is a flat backed resin, does that make a difference? When she wears it the bow starts to get perkier into the center (twisted boutique) in the pics I fluffed it out.

ETA - pics & state this was my first time to make korker ribbon & DD hair looks wild...she isn't into being still for pics (so I had to hold her still)

Something I always do if I'm going to have korkers in the middle and a resin is to glue 2 or 3 buttons to the bottom of the resin. That gives it some 'height' and the buttons are what is glued to the center of the bow...the resin will sit higher.

Hope this helps! Cute bow, btw!
