Default How to use a hotfix tool? Rhinestone won't come out??

Just tried my Kandi Kane hotfix tool this am. I let it heat up 2 minutes, picked up the rhinestone, (right size I checked) and then tried to put it on my ribbon, but the crystal wouldn't get off the tool?? What is the trick? The instructions were minimal, so not sure what I did wrong?? TIA!

no problem LOL it dont work about 80% of the time... frustrating lol...

change the tip on your wood burner to the last on in this pic

use bead tweezers to hold the stone in place if worried about exact placement... touch burner to top of hot fix the required time and tadah it will stay

hth

LOL..Mine did the same thing. I used a flathead screwdriver to push it out on to the ribbon and then after those first too hard to do ones...it worked good. Check to make sure your stone isn't in crooked too...lmao.....I did that too.

I am having the same problem! I was so anxious to get this and am really frustrated. About one out of four works correctly. How long do you leave the stone in before placing it on the ribbon?

I leave the stone in the tool until I see the glue starting to bubble. If one of the stones gets stuck, I use a hatpin and gently push out the stone once I have it placed where I want it to stick. To make sure the stone adheres to the item, I push down on the stone with the round end of a thin paintbrush. The stone gets hot when you try pushing it down with your finger!

I have the BeJeweler Pro and have the same problem. I have tried leaving them on longer, leaving them on not so long, you name it. It is frustrating to say the least! When it works, it is like heaven. When it doesn't . . . Good luck!!
