I've seen this concept before but I don't see how its all going to stay together if theres no sorta topper or security?

You can see right at the end, after she puts on the last korker, that she pushes down the center. My guess is it's a lined alligator clip with a metal brad coming up through the center. After all ribbons are on you separate the two metal prongs and fluff the korker so it covers it up.

She has "heat sealed" holes/dashes in each pc. of the ribbon. She has a brad secured on the aligator clip. You put all the pcs., and then push the top of the brad down, and move the top ribbon so you can't see it.

That is interesting. Wonder if it stays together. You could probably take it apart and switch colors to make it match something else.
