Default snaps, pacifier clips= problem!!

ok so when i set my snaps it pulls the ribbon on each side and looks crappy and unprofessional. is there a trick setting the snaps to not pull the ribbon?

i am using size 16 snaps on 5/8 and 7/8 ribbon along with the snapsetter that is hand held that you squeeze together. i also have the snap setter that u hammer, but the snaps keep falling out so that got thrown across the room somewhere

anyways can anyone help me?

LOL, I could have posted the same thing a couple years back....That's why I stopped making them....You can hand-stitch velcro instead of snaps, but then you're left with messy stitches (at least mine were). I don't know how to help you, but I really feel your frustration!

YOu can buy stabilizer at any fabric store...
If you cut a small square and place it between your ribbon and snap when you set the snap and then the stabilizer tears away. Stabilizer is normally used when you embroider or applique something so that the fabric doesnt stretch when you are working with it.

My DH says I have a mind like a steel trap. I somehow don't think he was calling me smart!
