Default How do yo scrunch?

Velvet Accessories at Little Bow Peep Fairy Tails
The velvet headband. How do you keep it from falling out? Do i need to do a base stich and then pull and tie off? Not sure but love the look.

k, lemme try this...lol... On the link you gave, it said *ruched*..

And what you wrote, was right.... Read This

Wanna see another project that uses this ruching method? I think it's pretty cool flower

Ruched Flower Pin And ya know, it's not just pin it can be...what about a Ruched Flower clippy...theory wise, sounds doable, I think..lol..

ETA: You asked how to keep it from falling off. I'm guessing the same method as making the woven headband ends. (for example). Before you can weave, you hv to adhere those ribbons first, right? Same thing what you'd do for the other end: secure it/glue it/E6000 it...lol...

So, that's my theory...

The headbands are adorable! She has really cute stuff. Cynthia, that flower is that japanese folding method, I can't remember what its called, but there's been posts on how to do it here before.

I don't think it's the japanese fold for the flower mentioned. The Japanese flower has more *neat* folds. Example, like this: Etsy :: littlelesiw :: Ni hao Kai-lan inspired Blooms (I know she's a member here and hers is the only one i can recall fast...lol)

Kazanshi flower--->yeah, something along that name..I don't know the exact method.

The flower link i posted in my first post, came up under *how to ruched* and from the YCMT descriptions, it also stated ruching method...

hmmm..i could be wrong tho..lol..apologies in advance...

I have sorta special techniques for finishing my ends, so I was purposely vague about that.
Thanks,that was very helpful.
