I am bringing a few of the big flowers with me to my vendor fair in a few weeks. This is a first as far as flowers...so I was wondering do you ladies just put them on alligator clips or do you put a few on french clips for the older girls?

I am just testing them out to see how they do in this area...but was wondering if I should just stay with one clip versus the other.....

I put mine on snap clips - I like the way they lay flatter and don't have the edge of the alligator clips sticking up. I also have a basket of flowers with pony o's on them which the older girls seem to like. HTH!

Hmm...I never thought of a snap clip. And a pony-o is a cute idea too..but how in the heck do you get it to stay on the pony-o with the stem removed...?

I would think that for the pony o you would stitch through the edge of the flower and around the pony o then use something cute for the center to cover the stitches, but I don't know.

THat is what I was thinking...but that means you wouldn't be able to glue the layers down..right? The glue would make it to think to stitch thru. That might be an adventure to try for another show...lol
