Default How did they make this?

I was looking online at etsy and came across this clippie: Etsy :: HaileysHairClips :: Snowflake

It looks simple enough to make for my DD, but how do you do it so that the two white ribbons ribbons that aren't on the clip itself stay stiff enough to stay straight/not flop down? I hope that makes sense! TIA!

Hi, That's my snowflake!

I did indeed get the instructions off of here. I spray it with hairspray, set it upside down on a table and let dry. They are stiff and straight and don't flop around.

I was wondering why that one clip had so many viewers!

I never saw this thread so sorry I didn't respond sooner.

Happy Holidays!

I love snowflakes! What a fun idea. You all have inspired me to come out of lurkdom, make a snowflake clip, and post a picture of it. I know it's not perfect (it's just for my dd). The next one will look better. :-)

I'm going out tonight, but will try to post an intro tomorrow!
