36, 45 & 60. Thanks for the tip! I'm gonna try that in a bit. I was trying my templates for the 30's & they seem small, so I cut it bigger & it made it way easier.

What I did for mine was measure from the center of the button to the edge. Then I took that measurement and added it to the edge. I guess just increasing the radius of the button by 1/2 of the original size. Then I cut it out of fun foam so I have a template. Hope this made sense to you.....

if you have a copy machine or access to one, you can lay a blank button front on the copier and enlarge by I think like 40% or maybe 50%. Hit the copy button, and then just cut it out! I use this method so I can cut lots of circles at once to store and to cut down on my scrap basket!

I used the templates on the back of a button box as well. Her is what I did...
1.Get a piece of "shrinky dink" plastic from a scrapbooking/stamping store 2. Cut out largest button template and trace on plastic 3. Cut out next largest and trace, 4. Repeat 5. Take all buttons, lay in center of larger circles and draw around them 6. Now, cut out all plastic circles and mark sizes on top with permanent marker. 7. put in ziplock snack bag, place in your purse for shopping trips. When I am at the fabric store, I take out my see-through templates to see if specific patterns will fit on the face of the buttons before I purchase any yardage!!! HTH! Shelley

Here is a link I found. It's for a monogrammed button cover but it could work for what you need.

Thanks for that! I was actually looking for a printable template. I think I made one okay though. |
