Sorry but I crochet tons of these and I can not believe you can do one in 4 min--at the most it takes 15-20min to make one.

How well do these sell? My neighbor just gave me a bunch of this yarn from when she gave up on knitting. I was thinking about using it on flip flops, but I think I will try to make a few of these.

What do you mean by layers.
I do single crochet one layer very close together on a regular scruchie band, maybe thats why mine take longer, I like them to be really full.
I sell mine for 2.50
