Sabine and all...What to use for labels on burp cloths?

I want to put a small rectangular label on my burp cloths, but not sure what to use. Do you think heat transfer sheets would hold up to the amount of laundering required for burp cloths? Should I use printable fabric sheets? What do you all use? BTW I use the diapers for burp cloths.

Sabine.....How does printed ribbon hold up when laundered alot? I thought about having you print me some ribbon with my logo and website addy, then I could just cut it off in sections one at a time....if that makes sense.???

Makes perfect sense and works like a charm!
Use a good quality heat transfer and just print a few to try it out.
I use 7/8" white grosgrain for my own - toss the entire length in one of those lingerie bags and wash away (I prewash mine on HOT!)..... and they still look good afterwards LOL
I've used bleach on some of my items (not really on purpose) and that does lighten them a bit.
Just make sure you follow the manufacturer's instructions for YOUR particular brand of heat transfers when you apply them - they're all a bit different.

Thanks. I thought the ribbon would be easier as long as I could fit everything on it. I may just have to put logo by itself. I'm going to PM you. I want to get a price on having you print some for me.

Here's the logo since I couldn't figure out how to send it through PM. I'm actually going to send two. One just the logo and the other logo and web addy. They will have to be resized.

Okies,
here are my own labels sewn as loops into the inside seam of my burpies:






I fold them over, sew them upside down with a narrow 1/8" seam, stop the machine once I'm "off" the label, fold the label down and back over it, enclosing the raw edge of the tag, and also ensuring that the double stitching secures the label.
Sewing them in this way also lets the label lay flat against the burpie.

The ones in the pic have been washed on HOT and then tumbled dry on HOT before I even cut them apart - they hold up very well.
This also softens the labels a bit, since they can be a little stiff when new.
