Default Another Cheer Bow question

I coach an allstar team locally and Im making the bows for the little team 8 and under... Im doing piggy bows. I just dont know what I want to attach them with??
What do you think?

i personally think french clips stay better... my dd is 4 with VERY thin/fine hair...i put them in her hair 2 piggies every week for ballet...

Me personally, I would want french clips,since they'll be moving around alot you don't want an alligator clip to just shoot right out! lol

Around me you wouldn't have a choice. Competition squads have a no metal rule and that means a pony-o, regardless of the children's age. It's a safety issue and even very basic tumbling/stunting like a forward roll or any kind of build can be dangerous when you have metal clips.

Even if it's not a rule for you, you can attach any kind of bow to a pony o. So why take the chance, kwim?

I am one of two coaches.. so its basically my decision.. The other coach says she doesnt care.
I have been in competition cheer for a long time and I havent heard of the no metal rule.. Im going to look at my new rule sheets right now.
