Default Sew bottle caps onto bows rather than gluing

Just thought I would share this technique with others as I see so many posts about gluing bottle caps to hair bows and having them fall off.

I had a customer ask me to put 4 holes on each bottle cap top and bottom, left and right and then she sewed the bottle caps onto her bows - they turned out great!

Anyway I thought this was a clever alternative to gluing them.

I'd had a thought to punch holes in the top in and bottom and run bead wire through and then wrap around the bow center. Haven't put any on bows lately.

I have done these as well.Just make sure that the thread does not show up bumpy when you add your picture over it.

are you putting the holes in the middle of the bottle cap? underneath the image? that probably would work too

however the way my customer did it was putting the holes on the edges so not to affect the image
