Default Advice on Pony Barrettes

Does anyone use these for their pony tails and/or bows? I ordered some thinking I might try to use them, but I am a little intimidated by them , not really, but would love some advice on them if anyone is willing. Do you line them like a french barrette first (I am guessing yes, of course)? Are they worth using? Any pictures of finished ones? Thanks in advance! Ribbon And Bows Oh My!

I guess they are not worth using since no one is replying . I will try to do something with them tonight if my daughter goes to bed on time. I am still very open to suggestions though, ok

I have that clip but I've never tried to do anything with it. I'm sorry that I'm of no help.

Thanks for replying! Do know know if they hold the hair in well for active girls? Do they have to use a rubberband/pony-o to hold the pony, or does it hold it on its own? Thanks!

my sister always uses a rubberband/pony o.. they can hold the hair alone but its not as tight.

I'm curious...did you do anything with these? I wondered how they turned out.

I had seen another bow maker had done the braid on them so I tried it out. It turned out OK. I only took a picture of the first one that I made. I still have a few left and am planning on putting some tails down bows on them. What do you think?

They look cute. I had seen something like that as well and really liked it. Have you tried them? I wondered how well they stayed in?

They don't hold as tight as I would like, but seem to do ok. I guess I would recommend people use a band under it.. But they look nice in the hair. Like a little more grown up looking
