Okay I'm getting totally frustrated lol. How do you attach rhinestones and jewels to your bows?

I've been using tweezers and E600 but when I put them on the clip I always end up smearing some of the glue and it shows on the ribbon I'm going to go mental.

I've never done this before... but I know I saw some at HL yesterday that were iron-ons... can you put that on ribbon?

Another thing you can use is a hot fix tool. You have to make sure the rhinestones are hot fix too. Here's a good site: HotFix Queen - SWAROVSKI HOT FIX RHINESTONES ~ Lowest Price on the net with FREE SHIPPING

I usually use it for attaching the smaller rhinestones.

Yes I agree. Hot fix is the way to go! I also did the tweezers thing and glue was all over the place!

I use a little dab of hot glue. You have to be really careful but it has worked for me.

With E6000, a little goes a very long way. Joann's has a tool set for working with jewels etc... It's a pack with 2 "sticks". One has sticky stuff on the end for picking up the jewel and the other is for placing the jewel on the ribbon/ fabric. I haven't used it before but it looks like it may work.

I’m not good at instructions, but here goes: I use a toothpick and get just over a speck of E6000 on the end, touch it to the back of the jewel (so the jewel sticks to the toothpick), position it on the ribbon with the toothpick between the jewel and the ribbon, press the jewel to the ribbon and pull the toothpick out. I’ve really had no mess this way and the jewels stick very well!

I use hot glue and it works for me, with tweezers. When I get more orders and can afford a hot fix tool I might try it.

i also have had problems with this!!! I have ruined several CUTE bows b/c I've gotten stinkin glue on them.

I've used super glue GEL (not the liquid) to some success, myself. I dab a small bit on the back and place it and then let it set.

I have been using my pliers to pick up the jewels, too, and not tweezers. it seems easier to keep my grip on them that way, and the jewels can't turn themselves over when i'm trying to place them on the bow.
