Default Does anyone have instructions on how to

Make team or holiday shirts?? I am new at crafting and have no idea how to make anything. ( I am the only girl of 4 brothers so I never really grew up around crafting) LOL. I have learned to do hair bows of course after purchasing several instructions. Now that I have learned to do that, all of my creative juices are just flowing . I really would like to make my daughter a halloween shirt from cutting out letters from fabric but have no idea how.If anyone could help me out I would sooo appreciate it. I already purchased this really cute fabric at Wal Mart so I can push myself to try it! TIA Ladies!!

you can buy iron-on transfers and then print them from your computer and iron them on.

or you can cut out the letters from fabric and use wonderunder to iron it on your shirt. you're really supposed to sew around the letters to, to make it permanent.
are you ever too old to wear bows?!

we used the wunderunder stuff with paint around the edges to seal it instead of sewing...they always came out cute, you can used irridescent or sparkle paint, just squirt a thin line all the way around (use a practice peice first to try your hand at it)

WonderUnder is iron on adhesive. The hardest part to doing letters if you use wonderunder is sewing a satin stitch around the edges. That takes A LOT of practice. I have seen shirts done that has the frayed edges which I think would be best for a beginner. After you have your letters ironed on your shirt, go around the edges with a straight stitch close to the edge, then take your finger or a toothbrush and brush around the edges to make them fray. Or do what I did, buy an embroidery machine LOL. I could never do the satin stitch right on my sewing machine.
