Dishonest sellers on eBay!!!

I am so MAD! I think steam is coming out of my ears.

I just bought some completely adorable Christmas ''flatbacks'' off of eBay. Or at least, they were advertised to be flatbacks of 'the highest quality.' I paid $6.50 for 12 of them.

Well I got them in today, FINALLY, and get this. They were ornaments or something, b/c on each and every one of them, there is a little hole at the top with a little bit of wire sticking out that this seller clipped off. I'm thinking they were probably those little "a tree for me" ornaments that Hobby Lobby sells, or something like that.

So I don't even know if I can use these as hairbow flatbacks, because the hole is very visible, larger than a piece of pencil lead, and not to mention the prick you get in your finger when you run it across the hole from the stupid METAL WIRE!!

If anyone would like to know the username of this seller, PLEASE, pm me. I would hate for anyone else to be tricked like this.

not sure what they look like but if they were ornaments or something could you put a tiny bow on them to cover hole? Post pics... Sorry did you contact them

yes, they had photos.

but it was a picture of 12 different flatbacks. who notices a small 'dot' on a picture when you're looking at that many?

Not yet, I just got them this afternoon, and I haven't had time. I think what I'll do is send the seller a message telling them that they should disclose this to future buyers through the auction and just be nice about it.

I guess I'm going to try filling in the holes with something like putty and then painting over them with some acrylic paint. The flatbacks are painted, anyways, so maybe I can make it work.

Can you respond with an item not as described issue?? If they obviously aren't flatbacks, then you didn't get what you bid on and paid for...

i know right??? I think thats probably why i was so upset about the holes! i already had pictured my bows with them on it!

although I will note, they aren't as bright in person as that photo shows them to be.

I've used the ornaments like that from HL. If you take som pliers they will screw out then you can take some apple barrel paint or like latex sealant and cover the hole up.

Those are really cute. You can't see the holes on top so I can see how you were surprised when you received them. I hope you are able to do something with them. They are too cute. I love the holidays.
