Default This glue is better than fabric-tac

Found a new glue--beacon magna-tac.

Bonds fabric, lace, beads, glass, metal, wood & leather.

Why is it better than fabric-tac? It bonds fabric and metal together (lining clips). I have to use fabric-tac and glue gun together to line alligator clips before.

Found a super low price on web:

Hi Michelle,
Sounds good but does it have a short or long drying period before you can keep working?

I was wondering about drying times too. I have no experience with this or fabric-tac and have no idea what to expect. The only I've used was gem-tac and that stuff didn't work and took forever to dry.

Actually, it works just like fabric-tac--looks like and works like, even smells like fabric-tac. Just the different results.

Amanda,

fabric-tac and magna-tac is fast drying glue. Similar to glue gun -- a little bit slower than hot glue so you have the chance to fix the mistake. But you don't need to wait like e-6000. Just wait 24 hours before wearing (or selling ) clips or headbands. That's all.

fabric-tac or magna-tac is better for lining clips and glue ribbon characters(butterfly etc). Glue gun is better for glue hair bows to the clip and glue buttefly to the clip.

By the way, I don't use e6000 because it says it may cause cancer.

Thanks Michelle for clearing that up. I think I'm going to pick some up this weekend.
I have been using e6000 to glue on my google eyes because moms were worried about them coming off. Maybe I should start looking for something else.

Yes, I bought a 4 oz bottle off eBay. I lined 30 alligator clips on Monday and turned out great. Haven't try it on snap clips yet. But at least, magna-tac can replace fabric-tag, that's for sure. The problem is: I can't find it in local store. The link I post has the great price but the shipping is about $6 (for 1-10 bottles).

Glue gun+fabric tac work fine on lining clips. I like magna-tac because it's portable.

It's 'extremely flamable'. The lady who sold the glue to me just wrap it in bubble wrap and use a bubble mailer (She used the plastic wrap to seal the bottle first). But I don't think USPS allows anybody to ship this kind of stuff.
