Default question about flower clips

Ladies that make flower clips what kind of clip works the best for larger flowers? I wanted to use alligator but I am thinking the flowers are too big. Might end up using a french.

I have been making the big flower clips with alligator clips and they work fine. You just have to get under the flower to clip it, but I still think it works. Never tried it with a french clip, but that makes sense.

For the really big flowers I would say alligator for headband, french for a regular clip.

My biggest flower has only been 5 inches, but an aligator clip works great for mine. Flowers are one of my best sellers.

Thanks ladies. I will experiment with the alligators tomorrow. I got frustrated with my glue gun this evening. I'm about to throw it in the trash.

It depends on the flower. Sometimes I sew it, sometimes I hot glue it and sometimes I e6000 it.

I do mine on alligator clips. Some ladies I work with buy them for themselves & clip them onto their jackets-the lapels or pocket. It looks really nice.
