Default What kind of plastic?

What kind of plastic or vinyl is used for these candy bows? And does anyone know how to seal them, I think a hairdryer would work huh?

I have a bow book published back in the 80's or 90's when these were popular which includes instructions for something similar. The instructions were to use sheet vinyl and an iron to seal the edges. But the ones on etsy you are looking at were made differently (with more updated materials available today, I'm guessing). I don't have the instructions so I can't tell you exactly how they are made but I remember a previous thread on this topic. If you search candy bows you'll probably find it.

Come to think of it I was drooling over some special candy corn at Target last week with my SIL. They had Green Apple and like toasted marshmallow... YUM!
