bottle cap epoxy question?

What is the buest way to apply the epoxy with out moving or destroying your inmages? I am kinda nervous that I will mess it up. I want to start them tonight and have all the stuff to do it. Can any ine help or give me pointers.

it's castin'craft liquid. it a clear crystal resin. sorry though it was a epoxy. i hope that resin is ok. It's a casting resin.

It depends on what you are using-which epoxy? The image should be secured to the cap first and if you used a good photo paper you usually don't have to worry about the image running. But it depends on what you are putting on top.
