Default Tutu

I'm making Holly a Strawberries and cream tutu for her upcoming 4th birthday party and I ordered 3 rolls of 6" tulle. Will this be enough do you think?

Based on what I've read, it should be enough for a medium full one depending on how long you make it.

Where did you end up ordering from, btw?

I don't make mine super fluffy... so, I say that 3 rolls is plenty. I normally use a little less than 2 rolls. But, mine aren't super full....

Here is a pic of my daughter in hers from the other night

I used 2 for a double layer tutu... 3 should be fine.... as long as you don't want it too long

Ooh I love that tutu! It's kind of cute girly punk. That's about how full I want it so that's great. Thanks!

Oh and Jen, I ordered the tulle from idearibbon.com. It cost me all up $17 for 3 rolls of tulle plus delivery. Not the best but I only want to make Holly one so I dont mind paying. Mind you, I'm still on the prowl for a supplier here in Australia.

I'm afraid to tell you that tulle was on sale at Hobby Lobby last week for either $1.99 (plain) or $2.99 (shimmery) per roll So I bought three rolls to make my little girls' tutu's for their birthday's. Let me know if you need more-the colors were limited, but I'm sure I could get it to you for less than $17!

Oh thank you so much, that's really nice of you. I'm sure I've got enough now though. The tulle I bought wasn't expensive, it's just the delivery to Australia from the US which is the pain.
