I've been wanting to try some of those loopy bows, but those instructions that were posted in this thread call for a french clip. I just don't buy them because my dd can't wear them yet. She's got a lotta hair, just very fine. One day...

Those are really good instructions. I did have a hard time getting mine to "fan" out. Someone on here suggestions to twist and pull them where you want them to be and it really helped. I used all different sizes on mine, but I really like the look of the thin ribbon for a littler girls hair, not so overwhelming. Good luck

Jennifer's bows are awesome. From what I understand she doesn't use any kind of starching and there is only a certain amount of info she will share with you. I bought her instructions and I have to say they are pretty good, especially for a newbie like me awhile back. Of all the boutique bow instructions out there for me I would have to say hers works best for me.

Her business has expanded so much that she has had to hire people to help make bows for her. The bows had to be made exactly to Sweet Baby Bowtique standards. She has sold to numerous celebrities and her bows will be used in some upcoming production. That may be why they are high priced.

if you use floral ribbon (the ones with a bit of wiring) the loops will stay better.

I think she means use the wired ribbon, the kind with the wire in the edges of the ribbon to help shape the bows.

Krista, my friends DD has very fine hair and these are all she uses. I think she puts it in a pony first, then clips french barettes in. Just thought I'd let you know, incase you want to do these. I've got so 50mm ones too.
