Default christmas dress bow match help!!!!

I made my six year old a Japanese inspired dress for Christmas it is made out of heavy satin brocade fabric, I would love to make some fancy bows but I feel like grosgrain is to casual. do many of you work with satin ribbon? if so what tips do I need to know before I try.

gee, I would love to see the dress, sounds beautiful!

you could do a "mixed media" bow if you like, using both grosgrain and satin, even velvet if you like

I think satin would be lovely. I don't think it's any harder to work with than grosgrain either.

Or you can use the fabric to make a bow-tie bow for perfect match. 1. make a fabric covered headband and 2. attach the bow tie bow (Just like the one Snow White wears).
