Just a question of curiosity... do you ladies find it alot of work to make itty bitty bows on lined clips?

I tried to make some itty bitty bows today and it was HECK ALOT of work compared to the larger or stacked bows. And when I tried to line my alligator clips, I have a hard time setting those ribbons straight and flat. Grrrr.... !

Is there a formula that uses itty bitty efforts for itty bitty bows?

It is a little more work w/ the cutting of the clip and lining fully. If there's a shortcut I'd be interested as well

I have small fingers- lol I think that helps.

I do it in stages. I cut the ribbons- then I take them with me to the kids piano practice. I sew the bows (goes faster for me) and make like a TON in 1.5 hours. Then later I will line the clips and add the bows.

I can fold and secure fairly fast. It is tying the centre knot, gluing that and applying it to the clip that gets to me. My fat fingers get in the way. I am a klutz. I applied hot glue to my bow, and my bow fell on my legs, and now I have a painful burnt.

Oh no!! I dropped the glue gun on my foot one time- and still have the scar to prove it. Hot glue is dangerous!

I DO NOT like making the itty bitty bows! I do find them alot harder to work with, I guess because there is not as much material there to work with.

Ouch! I had the spent the weekend with the plaster over the wound. I am sure my scar will stay around for quite a while.

I really like itty bitty bows.

For time spent, you make less money making them. The labor is the same at a 4 inch boutique, but you get 1/2 the money.

I use itty bitty bows almost exclusively with my daughter. They are really nice for a "grab it and go" kind of bow.

They ARE adorable on babies, but it is heck lotsa work. I especially hate putting on the centre knots. I get glue everywhere.
