I got as far as here... and I am stuck. Help!

I got some really nice mute colours and wanted to make a HUGE bow with them. I got as far as here and I am stuck! I didn't even put on the middle knot cos I wasn't sure if the colours are gonna gel.

Can anyone suggestion what else to go with it to make it a Wow wow bow.... if it can ever be that! LOL.

Ouh! That is an idea I should try. Never thought of it that way. I dunno how to do bottle caps, but I am going to rummage thru my cloth buttons for something cutesy for the middle... if I can't figure out that ribbon rose bit.

No problem. Check out Lynn's instructions for ribbon roses. Look how wonderful they make a bow look when added.

I would add several spikes where you have the surrounds and move the surrounds inbetween the 2 bows but make the surrounds a little smaller. There are so many things you can use for centers, buttons, pins, ribbon sculptures, bottle caps, basically whatever you can find that is small enough to go in the center. You did a really good job on the bow, can't wait to see the final result

Tadah! I took all the suggestions I can work with and got this far.

I can't do the ribbon rose cos I am too broke to buy a new tutorial after TOTT and gator bite. But I have a stash of hand-press buttons and got plonk one in the mddle of the bow.

I think it is waaaayyyy better than the original. What do you think?
