How to make bitty clips????

How do you make tiny baby clippies? I've seen a couple stores sell them, at first I thought they were just lined snap clips, but I've seen some really short alligator clips too. Do they sell this hardware? Or are people just cutting standard length clips? And if they're cutting them, what tool do I use to cut the metal? I just love them so small! Please help if you can! Thanks a million!!

i was told that you cut the alligator clip then file it so there are no sharp edges. to cut them you need really good wire cutters.

I am pretty sure you can buy those clips at Sally's. They are the single prongs.

You can buy the alligator clip at Sally's. Also PoshnPretty has free instructions on her site for the clips. Here is the link: Posh N Pretty - Boutique Creations! HTH. I make them the same way.

They cut them off, I remember I think it was sarah that said thats how she did it, but I could be wrong about the person who actually wrote it.

Also note the clip is lined with ribbon on both top & bottom - that helps cover/hide the cut off end of the prong. So it's a little different than the instructions shown on the Posh & Pretty website.
