korker ribbon

whats the recipe to make korkers? i got a bunch of crafting stuff from an ad on craigslist today and she had a bunch of dowels for korkers but i have no clue how to make them. thank u

i'm not sure how everyone else does it, but this is my "recipe". make sure your dowels will fit easily into your oven before anything. heat oven to 200 degrees. i use a clothes pin to attach one end of ribbon to the end of my dowel and "swirl" it all the way to the other end very tight and attach a clothes pin the same as the first end. pile your ribbon-filled dowels onto a lined baking sheet and "bake" for about 20-30 min. i spray mine with spray starch when i take them out. hope that helps you out. good luck!

I bake mine for 25 minutes at 275. Make sure you let them cool completely before you unwrap them or you'll have to start all over. HTH!!

oh ok, the lady i bought the supplies from told me to heat the oven at 400 and bake them for 40mins. i thought that sounded a lil extreme so i thought i would ask around before i burnt my house down lol....

no but she did tell me to spray them with starch before and after the oven...
