More Ruffle...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Can anyone tell me a tip on how to make my ruffle socks have more ruffle? Does that make sense, LOL. I'm wanting to make my daughter a pair and I know how to make regular socks, but she's wearing a pretty "dressy" dress and I think a little more fuller ruffle is needed. Any thoughts? I've tried adding more ribbon, but that doesn't work out so well... but I may be doing it wrong.

When you are making them are you stretching the sock out as far as you can? If so, you could maybe take a running stitch through the top of the ribbon & pull it to give it a gather before you sew it to the sock. Not sure if it would work as I have never tried it.
