Default ponytail streamer question

When you make your ponytail streamers do you glue them when you overlap them? Or just stitch them? I was following the intructions on the the girly things website. But I'm wondering if the glue would make it bulky looking? Thanks for taking the time to peek

I have done it both ways, but I like threading them without glue. It makes it easier for me to work with them, and I like the look better.

If I am using a lot of ribbon I do lightly glue them so I get a better hold on them. If I only have 3 ribbons I can just sew without glue.

I stopped using glue. It was too bulky for me...
