High temp or low temp hot glue?

I know I keep asking lots of questions, but I'm in the mood to do bows and I want suggestions.

I usually use a low temp gun because my poor fingers can only take so much beating.

But..what is the advantage of a high temp gun? Does the glue take a tad longer to set up?

I have tried both but I use a high temp only now. Low temp glue guns don't hold you can peel if off very easy. I have used the high temp so long now that it doesn't burn anymore.

I started off with a low temp gun and my clippies always fell apart. Now I use a hot temp gun and my hubby gets the glue from the hardware shop where he buys his tools. It's the best! My fingers are always getting burnt but they're pretty much used to it now.

I agree with everyone else. I only use high temp. It does hold better and you do get used to the burns.

oh wow....I didn't realize it held better. Going to start using my high temp gun for sure. Thanks so much ladies!

I use high temp. But boy does that glue get hot. It will leave blisters if it gets on your fingers but it seems to hold better.

I was using a high temp one until it i drop alittle glue onmy leg and left a awful scare now i mostly use fabric glue
