vs. not following the curve
Etsy :: EverydayClippies :: NEW....U-Pick 6 No-Slip, Simply Lined Hair Clippies from the Fall Collection 2008...Choose from 70...ONLY .99 CENTS FLAT SHIPPING RATES....

I have no connection to the etsy store owner, although I love the rainbow of clippies she has pictured!

Ooh, and look she uses double prongs and makes them no-slip with a coordinating piece of velvet on the top. (she shows it in another picture on her site)
Now where to find all that velvet ribbon. . .hmmmmm

I follow the curve on most of my clippies.

I use both types of clippies. I like the double pronged better for most of my clippies, but the single pronged works better for my crocheted pieces that slip on the top of some of my clippies.

I LOVE E-6000. I use it for everything from lining my clippies to adding the embellishments. I also use it for making jewelry.

It should be a matter of opinion, taking into consideration what YOU and YOUR customers want and think looks nice. These things vary geographically, and there's not necessarily a 'right' way of doing it. Try out a few different ways and see what YOU like.

When I first started bow making, I used to use double prong, followed the curve and used hot glue.

Now I use single prong, dont follow the curve and still use hot glue ,
