not sure if this would help but this site says to cook it at 275. maybe its not getting hot enough to hold a curl.

Yes, the white dots tend to do that. The Red/White dots will turn PINK!..lol..

I think I've read that, with these dots, you put in less time in the oven. Not as long as you'd do with the Solids and such.

More than likely your ribbon is not 100% polyester. I believe if it has rayon it won't seal and it won't curl. You might want to check on that

These are the instructions I used for my korker and also did like Cynthia suggested... tight, close curls. You are using a 1/4" dowel, right?

I also sprayed my ribbons with laundry starch right before baking them, and then let it all completely cool before taking the ribbon off of the dowels.

Are you taking the ribbon off the dowel as soon as you pull it out of the oven? It's kinda like when women use curlers in their hair. You've got to let the ribbon cool on the dowel before you pull it off. I bake all my ribbon-dots, solids, prints....at 300 degrees for 22 minutes. I use no spray of any kind. (I buy all my ribbon from either rabom or offray so whatever material it is it always curls) Here is how my korkers turn out with the method I use: OH, and I use 5/16 dowels

I bake mine @ 275 for 25 min. I use 3/8" ribbon and 5/16" dowels. You should definately let them cool completely before taking the ribbon off of the dowel. Good luck!!!

My first set failed and my ribbon was too satiny. Also I unwrapped it before letting it completely cool. Next attempt I sprayed, wrapped tightly, used only grosgrain and let cool came out perfect.

I was going to say as well just to make sure you wrap it TIGHTLY on the dowel, and than just like everyone else leave it to cool before removing it. Hope that helps!

Hi
I wet mine under the sink after rolling it onto the dowel . Maybe that will help curl it better ? Your korker looks beautiful by the way.
