Ok I am wondering if it offends anyone that sells instructions or buys them when someone makes something but did not buy the instructions but does it by looking at the item instead?

Personally, i don't care either way AND it's totally great if one can just look and make it.

There's plenty of us that can actually do that: look and make it. i.e characters stuff.

I buy instructions just because I HAVE to HAVE it.

I will only buy instructions if I can't do the *looksie-and-make-it* i.e hbs, lynn's wonderful rose... =)

I will only buy instructions if it interest me enough to buy it.

aha.... i'm going OT here...better shusssh now...

This is a funny question because unless someone post a picture of what they have made or tries to sell it there is no way a seller would know. Also, there are lots of different instructions out there for the same thing-they could have bought it somewhere else, or at least claim they did! BTW, I haven't done that, just saying someone could!

OK maybe it was a stupid question but I was just wondering because I can make different ribbon sculptures by looking at atuff and just wondered if it bothered ppl. If I could delete this post I would.

As an instruction seller - nobody likes competition but competition stemming from someone buying your instructions is not the kind anyone wants. Competition from someone else who honestly figures it out themselves - then more power to them....heck there is not just one person who can figure things out - just dont buy then claim that you didn't look at the instructions and that you did it youself

And seriously I wasn't meaning your post was silly.

So I vote number 2. EEEWWWW
No biggie! I agree if someone buys your instructions and then passes them off as their own that is rude. How is that baby boy?
