Thanks! I ended up taking the bottom korker and doing just that... wrapping it around my alligator clip to make sure the clip would stay in place. Thanks for the tip!!!

Ok, I promised a picture so here it is. Please excuse the mess in the back, and I apologize that the picture is so dark. It was so gloomy and raining on Wednesday.

She's adorable and the bow looks awesome! Don't you just love making custom bows to match clothes? I love the color combo!

Adorable! To answer your question about starch, if you think it seems stiff enough, then I'd just let it be, but if you feel like it'll uncurl then you can always use some hairspray (the cheaper the better).

Looks good!

As far as the clip goes, what we think matters about as much as ... well something totally useless. What kind of clip do YOU prefer to use on your daughter's hair? I would say to go with that!

Korker is so cute!! My dd has very thin hair so I would probably use an aligator clip for her.

HTH!

Lorrie - Thanks! It is so much fun!!! I'm totally hooked on finding color combos to match her clothes now!!!

Amber - Thanks! You should give it a try and post a picture!!!

notyomama - I appreciate your response. So far so good with the laundry starch.

Tonya - I know, I just thought I'd see what you seasoned pros found to work best. I ended up going with the alligato clip because that is what I already had. I will try it wth a french clip just for compairison.

Cyn - Paige has very thin, fine hair too. Unfortunately that's one of those things she got from me.

maryklvr - My cuts were about 2 1/2 inches. I decided to count curls instead of inches... seemed to work better for me. I had just over 30 pieces.
