It looks fantastic Michelle! My first one was horrid! I attach mine to alligator clips and pony O's.

Your korker is sooo good- I haven't tried one of those yet. I love the colors.

Very cute!! Looks perfect!

Starching after it is made is really at your preferance. Many people do like to but I am different and I do not. I like it to have lots of movement and bounce so I do not starch at any step of the game.

I am considering a light starching to see if it cure my 'nestling' problem. The ribbons all want to curl into each other and become one big kork of several layers. on some of my korkers. Grrrrrr.

I attach to alligator, french clips and pony 0's depending. I prefer french clips for my daughter but I sell mostly alligator and pony o's.

Usually alligator clips or pony O's. I find alligator clips stay better in DDs hair.

By the way I couldnt believe it was the first korker you'd ever made. It's perfect.

That korker is awesome! Did you use a korker box?

Thanks everyone!

I did not use a korker box. I started out just trying to tie it with thread, but couldn't get it tight enough so I decided to use the sewing method that is demonstrated in the tutorial on TRR. I presonally like that better... strong hold, and easier to make sure that I had the ribbons centered.

Next korker you sew thread first a small (1.5 - 2") piece of ribbon then all your korker pieces. Use the ribbon to wrap around the clip of your choice to secure it. My first korkers I just glued them onto clips. After 6 months they were falling off thru much abuse by my daughter. Now they don't move! HTH!
